Conner's Cause for Children

What we do

Conner’s Cause for Children helps families with children:

• With a life-threatening illness
• 18 years of age or younger
• Living in San Diego, Imperial, and Riverside Counties

These are some of the forms of assistance that Conner’s Cause for Children may be able to provide for your family:

• Transportation and food expenses associated with caring for your child
• Co-payments for medical care and medication
• Out of pocket costs for prescriptions, nutritional supplements or medical equipment not covered by insurance or benefits
• Out of pocket costs for in home care of your child
• Increased phone or utility costs associated with caring for your child

Conner’s Cause for Children currently assists over 400 families and is the only area organization providing financial assistance to families of children with any life threatening illness or injury, regardless of specific diagnosis. Conner’s Cause is also a founding member of the Family Resource Collaborative, a network of caring organizations, including Ronald McDonald House Charities San Diego, working together to identify and coordinate additional and comprehensive support services for families of critically ill children.

If your family is experiencing financial hardship because of your child’s serious illness, Conner’s Cause for Children may be able to help you. Conner’s Cause for Children primarily assists families whose children are residing or receiving medical treatment in San Diego, Imperial and parts of Riverside Counties.
